The house
Casa del Horno (house of the kiln) is a petite but stylish townhouse offering quality accommodation for 6 to 8 people on a quiet street in Alhama de Granada. Four bedrooms (one of which is in a 700 year old Moorish kiln), three bathrooms, kitchen / living room, 50 metre square sun deck, 12m square terrace and a 5m by 3m plunge pool. The house is 2 minutes walk from a great little supermarket and 5 minutes easy walk to the Squares with 38 café bars and restaurants.

Outdoor space
The focus of the house is the outdoor space.
There is:
A 50 metre deck – perfect for sunbathing and al fresco dining, some shade is provided by a lovely walnut tree. There is sun on the deck from 8 in the morning until 7 at night.
A plunge pool (5 x 3 metre), with small water spout, perfect for cooling down in the hot summer months and a shaded area under the deck – perfect for reading in the hammock when you have had enough of the hot sun. A 12 metre terrace at the top of the house is accessed from the top bedroom – complete with ‘cheeky’ outdoor shower.
Bedrooms:
The kiln room: an incredible double bedroom set in the ancient 700 year old pottery kiln. There is a mezzanine floor chill out area on top with 2 matching classic le corbusier loungers, underneath there is a double bed. This is a wonderful room, with one to two metre thick walls and though there is little natural daylight in the room – what does come in comes through fabulous stained glass windows and the sky light. There is under floor heating for the cooler months.

Booking deposit 50%, balance 60 days before arrival.
